This petition is about the rights of Liberians and citizens from other West African countries. These foreign born persons are being stigmatized with horrible labels in schools, at work, in public places, and even places of worship. They are overly ostracized simply because of their accent or continent of origin. They are consistently being discriminated against.
We call on president Obama to demand the reversal of these horrible practices and put in place national policies to protect US citizens, residents and foreign nationals who hail from these countries.
