Stop The Distribution of America's Leading Killer. Save 443,000 People Yearly & Discontinue The Sale of Tobacco.

Created by T.W. on January 10, 2013

The CDC (Centers for Disease Control & Prevention) & The Surgeon General have warned Americans for years that tobacco has increased health related problems. The CDC has also reported that Tobacco is "The Nation's Leading Killer." With 443,000 annual American deaths, and 8.6 million people experiencing serious illness caused by smoking. Besides being the largest killer in America tobacco also results in $96 billion a year in medical costs, and another $97 billion a year from lost productivity.

Tobacco is the number one "killer" of Americans, cost our health care system billions of dollars, and results in people wanting to quit but can't. I petition the discontinued distribution of the drug tobacco to the citizens of America.
