Stop Dividing The People Using Political Parties

Our nation is crippled by the divide among us. We shall no longer dislike another person or candidate because of there political party backing. We should choose candidates based on there platforms instead of just simply because of their party. Many people already choose based on their beliefs and not political parties so why do we need this divide? This is not a game of football in which we choose teams. John adams once said "There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader, and concerting measures in opposition to each other. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution." We should stop using dialogues like Republican and Democrat
