Education is considered to be a great opportunity in the American society and is competent enough to lift children from poverty and promote them to higher chances of established careers as adults. However, with the continuance of achievement gaps between rich and poor children it threatens to diminish the capacity of a child's education level all based on their families income. Statistically speaking, children from rich families who attend high classed schools, are given opportunities to do better in school because their parents have status and connections. Children who come from poor families and attend low classed schools are less likely to be given any opportunities that will enable them to well school. Education should be equally available to everyone not just those who are privileged.
