Stop the DOJ from hurting consumers in e-book case.

Created by A.K. on August 09, 2013

Please stop the Department of Justice from harming consumers. The DOJ has proposed that Apple Inc. would have to terminate contracts with book publishers and basically shut down the iBookstore. Furthermore, consumers would no longer be able to buy books from the iBookstore and would be forced to buy their e-books from Amazon. Now there are other places that sell e-books, but Amazon would mainly be the one to benefit from this. Those of us who have heavily invested in our e-books via Apple would have to start purchasing from another company and many issues will arise. As a consumer, I want many options for buying e-books and the DOJ's ruling would harm me and many others. Please do not harm consumers by allowing this to occur.
