Water in CA is at historic lows. 705 MILLION gallons of water are being used by companies like Nestle, Auquafina, Crystal Geyser, and Dasani (Coca-Cola), and as a result lakes are drying up, forests are burning and species are dying out. CA produces 21.24 billion in agricultural exports and our 76,400 farmers are not able to sustain their crops.
We are asking that congress move these operations out of the state, and allow the US forestry service to evaluate, monitor and hold accountable the companies that are using up our natural resources and killing our state.
