With profits of $2.7 billion and shareholder earnings up 25 percent last fiscal year, Duke Energy wants to charge ratepayers for the cleanup of coal ash in N.C. Gov. Pat McCrory is one of these shareholders and has really done nothing to protect consumers.
Duke Energy CEO, Lynn Good, and shareholders should not place the burden of cleaning up this mess on the backs of consumers!
