Stop the Eastern Seaboard Oil Exploration.

Stop the oil exploration along the eastern seaboard. Hundreds of thousands of marine animals will be extinguished. While finding new oil will boost the economy in the future, the detrimental damage that this will cause our environment is irreversible.The Obama administration has approved seismic surveys using sonic cannons that point to energy deposits deep beneath the ocean floor. These actions affect whales, dolphins, turtles, crabs and other marine life. Using these sonic cannons produce a sound wave similar to a jet engine that interferes with a marine animals ability to find food, mates, and stay in their social groups. As a result we are likely to see a decline in marine life due to the use of these sonic cannons all along the eastern seaboard.
