The CDC is planning on bringing at least one American infected with the Ebola virus onto US soil for treatment. Although the victims of this disease deserve every chance at survival, this move will put the American population at risk, with no clear benefits to the patients. There is no effective treatment or cure for Ebola. Despite Emory University Hospital being well-equipped, it is clear that the infection-control precautions used during this outbreak have been ineffective. Healthcare workers have been infected and have even died. Please do not put our population at risk.
