To stop Employers from discriminating employment based on Credit and Misdemeanor History through background checks.

Created by P.V. on December 24, 2012

One of the biggest discriminatory practices by employers is denying employment based on credit and non-related misdemeanor history through the use of Fidelity Bonding practices.

If you have bad or less than satisfactory credit. You will never be able to obtain a white collar job period. Same applies if you have a misdemeanor such as a discharged DUI, you will never be able to obtain a white-collar job. IE. Banks, Pawn, Real Estate, Management positions, etc.

Fidelity Bonding practices by employers are used to deny employment based on credit and past misdemeanors, not just felonies. Most are blanket insurance policies. Employers rarely participate in The Federal Bonding Program to help potential applicants overcome this burden

Ever wonder why employment is so high, this is one big reason!
