Stop employers' from restricting employees' movements while not being compensated such as non paid lunch breaks

Created by M.S. on July 28, 2014

Employers such as the Federal, State, Local Governments and Private Sector create policies that bar employees from leaving a work place and/or restrict travel while not being paid during breaks. This generally relates to unpaid lunch breaks.

Employees should not have their freedom of movement restricted by work related policies while not being compensated by an employer. In simple terms no employer should be able to restrict an employee from leaving or doing personal things if they are not being paid during that time.

Please sign an Executive Order stopping this practice from taking place in the United States of America and its Territories as appropriate.
