I will use my story to make a point. I was Ran over making change for work I Needed. I had went to the workers comp doctors and they took x rays, they sent me back to work with medication, limited very limited duty. I was getting worse, i sought a lawyer because my job was trying to fire me because of it. come to find out the X-ray that I took, Showed crushed knee caps, Cracked ankle, total reconstruction on my jaw. It took 5 yrs,to get the surgery, because the first Dr. discriminated against me, my kind, he will not help. I found i had a tumor in my head as well. I could go on and On. what i am trying to say is Laws need to change for work comp they need to help people more and don't put it all on SSi. not that i get ssi. the insurance company are leaving the injured worker homeless
