Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden are dead. Our "mission" is complete. Why do we have massive standing armies in Iraq and Afghanistan? Bring our troops home now. Our soldiers should defend the USA, not police the world. The trillions of dollars spent could easily be used for more productive programs. Instead of large armies and huge bases that just provide an easy target for insurgents, use drones, CIA, and special forces to handle remaining threats.
