Stop the Environmental Protection Agency from giving priority to the chemical industry over the health of our children.

Created by M.S. on December 26, 2012

"America's Children and the Environment, Third Edition," a landmark report by the Environmental Protection Agency, which concludes that children exposed to toxic substances can develop severe health problems, has been sidetracked, reportedly because there has been furious opposition from the chemical industry, and is now relegated to being an "unpublished" report that cannot even be quoted or cited.

It is unacceptable that a government regulatory agency succumb to the pressure of private industry, especially when that industry is clearly part of the problems cited in the report (an obvious reason why they have a problem with this report).

Special interests should not have such an impact on a report that impacts the health of the population (especially children).
