The EPA is costing consumers several thousand dollars a year by their "Emissions standards" requiring devices such as a DPF (diesel particulate filter) and a process called SCR (Seductive Catalyctic Reduction).
These devices not only harm the engine but tremdously affect the fuel economy of these vehicles. Experimentations with removing these devices have shown certain trucks' fuel economy to go from 10mpg to 18mpg. Though it is proven that it reduces the amount of particulates coming from the engine, it also causes billions of gallons of diesel fuel to be consumed each year-where without them-it wouldn't be.
These mandates are not only harmful to the longevity of the vehicle's engine but also to the checkbook of the consumer.
Stop these strict regulation!
