Stop the "Every Door Direct Mail" campaign launched by USPS, or provide for citizens to be able to easily opt out.

Created by L.E. on April 13, 2012

Every Door Direct Mail being offered by the USPS has made it easier for even more junk mail to inundate our homes, needlessly impacting the environment, especially increasing landfills if that junk isn't recycled. This selling of our personal home addresses and privacy without consent needs to cease and desist. Clearly this is not something that will inspire the general public to use USPS rather than the competition. Perhaps USPS should consider things like consolidating mailbox delivery points, better customer service, offering more competitive service instead of continual price increases, dismal service and now this intrusion. As citizens we should be able to protect our privacy and easily opt out of or reject this unauthorized usage of our names and/or home address information.
