We have a tax code that encourages companies to send large quantities of jobs overseas. We also encourage companies to import cheap labor to take over jobs from Americans. The H1B program is supposed to have safeguards, but in real life companies lay off Americans and then get visas for people from developing countries to come and take the jobs at far lower salaries. Even when this has been made public it gets ignored. There is a famous video of a law firm teaching clients how to advertise a job in a way that makes it look like there are no Americans qualified for it. Please fix this!
