Stop the Extended Unemployment Benefit Cut off. Besides making people more stressed out and suicidal, this reform will not change anything. It will not make the CA budget any better. CA needs to provide more jobs and change the outdated and corrupted LA county DHR system so that candidates can apply for a job and eventually get it. What they do, they use the so-called limited budget to organize written examinations countywide for maybe 1 or 2 positions. They keep the name of eligible candidates from 6 to 12 months only, and then go through the same process after that.
Is that a wise budget spending? What about the people who already went through the process and never got the job? CA has enough budget for this nonsense department of human resources, but it has no budget for UI benefi
