Stop pressuring Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman of New York to accept a state settlement with banks regarding their foreclosure practices. The banks should be held FULLY ACCOUNTABLE and not given legal immunity with a discounted price tag. The only victims suffer in the administration's negotiations with the banks. The administration's argument that home owners are 'in need now' is a straw-man; more can be done to aid them AND prosecute criminal bank activities. Anything less than a full attempt to prosecute places the wealthy above the law.
