Government policies that permit and endorse the extra-judicial killing of Americans anywhere engender mistrust and disharmony among Americans everywhere. They are contrary to everything that America is supposed to stand for. They make a mockery of due process, and lead to outbreaks of anarchy here at home.
These policies, and the extra-judicial killings they permit, no matter their rationale, must end.
We call upon the President to publicly renounce the extra-judicial killing of Americans abroad and to detail and publicly apologize for all such acts that have been committed during the last 12 years.
