In many cases, police forces around the country are using unrighteous and overly violent actions on innocent citizens who are protesting within their rights.
These same rights are protected on paper, by the Bill of Rights. Most, if not all, police officers are not being punished for these unjust actions against people of all ethnicities, gender, and age. Many of these recorded accounts of brutality are happening during Occupy movements throughout the nation, and have sparked an immense uproar of anger among the people, yet nothing has been done by the Executive Branch.
Sure, the President stands up for similar protests in other countries, such as Egypt, Syria, and Libya, but does he promote any "democratic" actions within his own country?
