Testing shows the adverse effects GMO's are having in labs world wide. The crops are a threat to bio-diversity as cross contamination has been proven to occur regularly. With these two facts in mind it would not be wise to open the door for a potential contamination of our countries Salmon populations.
Further more the peoples FDA and USDA are supposed to protect the public. They are funded with the peoples tax dollars. They habitually expose the American public to untested GMO's, relying on the testing conducted by these for profit companies as proof of safety. We demand that the peoples FDA and USDA conduct testing independent of these GMO corporations.
