Stop Federal agencies from requiring degrees from veterans with honorable service and equivalent experience.

Created by R.B. on February 24, 2014

Petition to stop federal agencies from requiring four year degrees of veterans who served honorably, so long as said veteran has applicable experience.

Tax payers already invest substantial money into building a proper Soldier/Marine/Airman/Seaman. Why should Federal Job require even more tax dollars (G.I. Bill), to educate a Veteran just to qualify for a work.

Remember, veterans typically want to start a career and tend to their families.

Additionally, there is no "Civilian Equivalency" for an Infantryman(Army or Marine) this is a massive disservice to a Skill Set that runs the military.
