Stop the Federal Tax Exemption for religious organizations unless they provide a quantifiable service to the community.

Created by K.F. on June 23, 2015

In the U.S. currently, religious organizations (Churches), are exempt from paying Federal Taxes. Income for the church should be taxed at the same rate as other businesses.
If a church provides assistance to homeless, disabled, sexual minorities, etc. they should file for nonprofit status covering only those operations, 501 (c)(3), like any other charitable non-profit.
