Stop the fine arts budget cuts in schools. They are not a scapegoat for Washington's budget woes.

Created by J.H. on April 07, 2013

The fine arts have been pushed around as if they mean nothing but to many, music and art is the only way to express themselves and get out of bed in the morning. It is the only reason for some to even attend school. When fine arts budgets are cut everyone suffers. Within two to three years of laying off teachers or cutting back, crime increases at school while attendance and grades decline drastically. This is a bigger issue than any one of us can stop but if we get together, we can show that we are not robots! We need the arts!
