Stop food companies from raising prices while reducing the quantity of products

Created by M.K. on February 23, 2014

With the cost of food prices in this country at an all time high and the threat of continued rising prices, consumers are dealing with a frustrating issue. Some food manufactures, in recent years, are reducing the size and quantity of their products with out an offset in price reduction. This practice can be seen in products such as ice cream containers, some beverages, cereal, and snack items such as chips and crackers. This problem is causing families to spend more in the long run for less of a product. Consumers are being forced to stretch their already tight budget for living expenses to cover the cost of food.
