Last nights moon rise marks the start of Ramadan the holiest month in the Islamic calender. A requirment of that month is that Muslims not consume food between sunrise and sunset. To force feed those young men during Ramadan is not just damaging to them physically but also spiritually. I ask that my government honor their religous needs a d their right to self determination atop force feeding the detainees at Guantanamo Bay.
