We call on the United States government to end the inhumane force-feeding of Guantanamo Bay inmates on hunger-strike. These inmates are protesting for a right so indelible to our country that we included it in our Constitution - the right to due process of law. Force-feeding is a painful, temporary solution to a problem that will not go away until the government addresses the problem of what to do with the inmates of Guantanamo Bay. Indefinite detention and force-feeding of protestors are not solutions to lack of process.
