Force-feeding of prisoners, and the way it is done at Guantanamo is cruel and an assault against human dignity.
The United Nations Human Rights Commission considers it a violation of human rights. The process for doing it (as described in the link below) constitutes torture.
If the United States has any claim to being a great nation, then this must stop. We are better than this. Even our enemies are human beings and deserve to be treated with dignity.
