If everyone is required to have car insurance, then why is there liability. Make affordable, sensible insurance, and there would no longer be a need to force it on people. If you insurance covered you and your property only, why would it matter if the other driver in an accident was covered. You fail to insure yourself, and you are the only one to suffer. Take the ability to force people into a government profited and controlled industry away from that very government. Or still demand people have insurance, but still cover yourself and not others, and make it affordable as well as set up assistance for those who cannot afford it.
