The time is now to demand that our government stop federal funds of any kind that is going to the country of Afghanistan. The government of that country has been very clear. They do not want American troops or intervention in their country. As such we should remove all intervention including financial aid.
It does not make fiscal sense to continue down the path of past foreign policy when we are not able to balance our own US budget and fund our own US economy. Additionally, we should not cut any program while we are giving money to a country that does not want our assistance. Keep the Money in the US where we need it.
