Thousands of United States steel jobs have been lost, and thousands more are at risk, by unprecedented levels of foreign steel dumping by countries that are ignoring the rules of international trade. I'm asking for the administration to take a close, focused look at the harm that is being done to the U.S. steel industry.
The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) needs to be revised to include stronger, enforceable language to prohibit currency manipulation, and trade laws must be strengthened.
