Stop fracking by adding the tar sands sources to the Strategic Petroleum Reserves, thus saving our precious clean water.

The oil sands and tar sands development is ruining
our quality of life. This development is reigning a disaster on other natural resources: clean water, unpolluted aquifers, clean air and livable communities. Disastrous oil train derailment and explosions have ruined communities and killed citizens. Methane release is contributing to global climate change. Please declare the oil sands and tar sands as an expansion to the Strategic Petroleum Reserves and STOP production. Companies may have to be compensated for halting development, but that is negotiable considering the damage they have already done to the environment.
