Recently, members of the armed forces had the Tuition Assistance (TA) program completely cut due to the sequestration. However, some schools provide full scholarships for illegal immigrants while members of the military have their education benefits completely taken away and law abiding U.S. citizens must take on more debt in order to gain access to the same education. America does provide amazing opportunities for its people to make the best of this country, but its population should not be penalized for being an American citizen while illegal members of the population reap the benefits intended for law abiding citizens.
