The importance of defunding Planned Parenthood enables three important criteria for a stronger United States:
1) We are in difficult economic times when budget cuts are necessary to preserve the strength of the American economy. By defunding Planned Parenthood, the annual budget can be reduced by approximately 360 million dollars.
2) Studies indicate that there is a direct link to breast cancer and abortion. Planned Parenthood is the largest provider of abortions in the United States. Womens health is diminished with the care provided by Planned Parenthood which is in direct contrast to providing better health care to citizens of the United States.
3) Planned Parenthood provides teen and preteen citizens access to contraceptives which in turn increases risky behaviors.
