There are many areas Congress have overlooked during budget cuts, but the Department of Defense continues to incur more cuts to the point that the military will no longer be able to train. In one year, we will have soldiers that have not fired a single round in training. In two years, we will have soldiers who have not participated in a full scale exercise. In five years, our military may not be capable of fighting a war. We may opt to stay out of other countries, but what if other countries opt to attack us? Maintaining a strong military is a vital piece of being a world super power.
