Stop funding informative nutrition programs and start subsidizing and regulating fruits and vegetables.

Created by S.S. on November 13, 2013

Many Americans have easy access to nutritional foods at reasonable prices, but cannot afford to purchase fruits, vegetables and other nutritious foods to create a balanced meal. Instead of funding education programs on obesity, the government should subsidize the cost of the foods Americans really need in their diet. By allowing better access to nutritional foods, the obesity epidemic can be controlled. Obesity is known to lead to high blood pressure, cancer, osteoarthritis, sleep apnea, gallstones and many other potentially deadly diseases. Americans should unite to tell the government to help us get better foods at affordable prices.
