The state of Israel acts with total impunity funded with over 3 billion in U.S. tax dollars every year. It maintains openly racist policies that oppress Palestinians in a fashion exactly parallel to the erstwhile apartheid state of South Africa. It illegally occupies Palestinian lands in violation of international law. It commits countless human rights violations, including murder, torture, and arbitrary imprisonment of Palestinian youths. This unconditional bankrolling of an unjust regime should at the very least be submitted to a popular vote, to see if this is really where the American people want their tax dollars.
