Student General Fee dollars are incredibly expense at universities and students often do not benefit from them. Giving students the option to OPT in or OPT out of having to pay into student general fee dollars will make college more affordable and cut down wasteful spending that the government has to dish out in financial aid. Students will realize they will be saving thousands of dollars per school year, and college universities will also be forced to cut out wasteful spending. Thousands upon thousands of student general fee dollars do not serve the real needs of students.
