Stop funding radical Syrian Rebels in the fight against Bashar Al Assad

The Syrian War. A conflict with 100,000 Syrians dead, 6 million people displaced, and increasing intervention by outside countries. Over these past couple of years, each side, especially the Syrian Rebels, have become increasingly more radical, committing atrocious actions including heartlessly killing neutral Syrian citizens and inhumanely torturing enemies enemies that more than evens out the gas attacks committed by Bashar Al Assad’s regime. Despite these atrocities, President Obama has agreed to provide the rebels with over 423 million dollars in aid. What is concerning is that this looks very similar to what Jimmy Carter did in the 1970’s when he funded the Afghani rebels who eventually became the Taliban.
