As a U.S. citizen, I am strongly opposed to US military involvement in Syria and the rest of the mid-east.It is intolerable that the government has committed $125 million taxpayer dollars to fund these Islamic extremists and is now planning to arm them!
We, the citizens of the US, did not give you a mandate to spread death and destruction overseas. The UN estimates that some 90,000 Syrians have died in this conflict and many more are refugees in neighboring countries. This is a crime against humanity.The US government cannot even provide adequate unemployment benefits, housing and healthcare for it's citizens but yet it finds the money to fund terrorists in Syria! This is simply outrageous and it must stop!
