Stop the more than 800,000 government employee furloughs scheduled to begin next month. These employees have families, many are veterans and patriots who give (and have given) all they have to make this country great.
This planned furlough will take at least $450 million out of the economy alone. There will be a residual jobs economic loss of at least $420 million.
Government employees are always the first to take it on the chin, but the ones throwing the punches never seem to feel a thing. Three years running with no pay raise should be enough.
Instead of cutting pay to the employees who ensure this country operates effectively, there should be a relook at the funds being given to other countries, many whom despise the U.S. and all for which she stands.
End the sequester today.
