As a Senior citizen, and with a Retired spouse there are few "Extra Income"
avenues available to us. Our costs keep growing but our income keeps
decreasing. My bills must be paid which include the Union dues, taxes,
medical costs, insurances to name a few.
The 11-day furlough will harm the mission in the following way(s):At the Academy, Summer is not a time of rest. all of the Grad files, incoming files, training, functions like R-Day, Work load increases and time is limited. Stress is a problem with this kind of work load.
