Stop the genocide of Native American nations, the Lakota, Dakota and Nakota Sioux in South Dakota.

Created by R.B. on June 11, 2013

In South Dakota native american children are being forcibly taken from their families and culture, and being placed in white foster care by Social Services, in violation of the Indian Child Welfare Act of 1978. Once placed contact with their family and tribe is difficult and this leads to a loss of their culture.

According to the U.N. General Assembly's Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide. This Convention (Article 2) defines genocide as follows : (e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group."

The state receives $79,000 from the federal government yearly for every Native youngster it removes, but provides only $9,000 to the foster home.

We ask that the President order the Attorney General to investigate and stop this abhorrent practice
