In order to make elections fair and just, we urge the president to place the influence of powerful industry lobbyists, whose interests do not necessarily align with the general will of the people, on the same plane as average, individual Americans by limiting the amount of money that congressional candidates and presidents can receive during their campaigns. Similarly, we urge the president to eliminate gerrymandering by creating a system of independent, unbiased boards to draw congressional boundaries.
