The Fifty Shades of Grey books (and film) are very detrimental to our society. Not only does the relationship between the two main characters qualify as abusive, they are also used to inaccurately the BDSM community.

Aside from it being an abusive relationship, the sexual relationship (BDSM) is grossly misrepresented as well. This can be very dangerous, ESPECIALLY when safe words are not respected.
We cannot allow the young, impressionable women in our country to believe this is a healthy relationship - it is ABUSE.
