Medical marijuana dispensaries are stimulating the economy in California on a higher level than anything else the state or federal government has accomplished. It seems illogical that the government would shut down some of the only small businesses that have been able to survive in this economy. We create jobs, pay taxes and help provide relief to the thousands of sick and impoverished people in this state that cannot afford health insurance. We are an asset to the community and this state simply cannot afford to shut these places down at the alarming rate that the federal government is threatening. California voted in both prop. 215 and SB 420 to legalize and regulate medical marijuana, so we are not breaking state law. The federal government needs to leave us alone!
