stop greed based government by limiting all comp. for elected officials to working term & remove self imposed raises.

Self imposed raises for elected officials and compensation beyond term of service is unfair to taxpayers and creates an initiative to seek office for reason of greed rather than service. We propose limiting compensation to like positions commensurate to private industry and remove compensation that continues beyond the term of service. Public office is intended to mean representation and the present system does not allow this but rather creates a free for all riches gathering opportunity at the American taxpayers expense. This would create a position of representative that truly wishes to serve his or her constituents out of patriotic duty rather than greed.
