We the people have been witness to the slow, but inevitable progression of plutoligarchistic forces in this country starting with the pardon of Richard Nixon in 1974. Since that time, we, the people, have been subjected to innumerable assaults on our collective conscientious and sense of justice. Since 2001 we have watched dispassionately, as our leaders have turned this democracy into the worlds largest Prison State. Prosecuting foriegn wars, while imprisoning millions of poor, while invoking prosecutorial discretion for the collective good in letting the financial institutions that have wreaked havoc on this nation's collective wealth.
