In light of all the recent senseless murders, America badly needs gun control. Legislation should be passed to conduct background checks. Legislation should also be passed to control the online sales of guns. In the Aurora, Colorado movie theater shooting, one of the victim's families stated that James Holmes bought guns online to commit the murders. These guns were military grade and he bought them without a driver's license. Legislation needs to be passed so when purchasing from an online company: identification must be presented, a background check must be passed, and the company needs to ensure firearms are not sold to individuals with mental illness.
